Directions

The following bus lines reach the Edmond J. Safra Campus:

  • From the central bus station: lines 14, 66 , 66A , 68.
  • From the city center: lines 7, 7A (from the Nachlaot), line 9 (from Rechavia
  • From Ein-Kerem campus: line 42
  • From Malcha mall: lines 35, 35A (descend at Bitiach-Leumi bus stop and walk ~5 minutes to the campus' main gate.
  • HUJI shuttle service: the service is available only during the academic year, on days when classes are held.

There are two main gates to the Edmond J. Safra Campus:  

  • The northern gate (main entrance): continue straight ahead, pass parking lot 22, turn left after the Belgium House, then turn right and continur straight.
  • The southern gate (back entrance): after passing the security post turn left, continue for 200 meters and turn righr at the Belgium House, then turn right and continur straight.

Note: the entrance to the Silberman Building from the parking lot is on the 2nd floor.

From the airport: follow the signs to Jerusalem. You can reach Jerusalem by road 1 or road 443.

  • If you drive on road 1, immediately after entering Jerusalem turn on to Begin Boulevard, exit at the Givat Mordechai or Kiryat Moshe interchange and follow the signs to the Hebrew University campus.
  • If you drive on road 443, take the Kiryat Moshe exit to reach the northern gate or the Givat Mordechai exit to reach the southern gate.

Note: To enter the campus and park your car you'll need a security permit for your car (please contact your host in advance).
If you have no permit there are parking areas outside the campus (see map). Note that some curbside parking areas (marked blue and white) may require payment.
