The Alexander Silberman Institute of Life Sciences at the Hebrew University invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Life Sciences with emphasis on the following disciplines:
- Biochemistry, Structural and Molecular Biology, Proteomics & Protein Engineering
- Systems Biology, Ecological genetics, Population genetics, Bioinformatics & Computational Biology
- Ecology, Evolution, Animal behavior, population biology & Global Environmental Changes, Conservation biology
- Genomics, Genetics & Disease genetics
- Cellular and Developmental Biology, Stem cells, metabolism, embryology, Intra-cellular Trafficking & Cancer Biology
- Plant Biology (development, physiology, biochemistry) & Plant Environment Interactions
- Neurobiology with emphasis on neuroethology or molecular neurobiology (excluding higher brain functions)
- Positions that combine academic curation of a Natural History Collections at the Hebrew University would also be considered. Recruits are expected to combine academic research and teaching with the development of collection-based research programs.
