The Movement Ecology Lab at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem is looking for two outstanding PhD students (and possibly a post-doc associate) for research at the interface of movement ecology, wild

psychometrics (animal cognition in the wild) and management of three interacting raven species in a desert ecosystem (Israel).

Research will involve lots of fieldwork, GPS and ATLAS tracking, field manipulations, behavioral experiments in an aviary, deep learning tools and movement analysis methods. It is directly linked to nature conservation and ecosystem management.

Requirements: MSc/PhD-level experience with relevant topics, international driving license for fieldwork, experience with machine/deep learning and movement analyses for the analytical part.
